A High School Football Player Has Died After Injuries Suffered During A Game Friday Night

A high school football player named Dylan Thomas, who played for Pike County, has died after sustaining injuries during a game this past Friday night.Thomas, who was a junior linebacker, was injured during his team’s game against Peach County High School. He was transported to a nearby hospital following the injury and underwent emergency surgery. He suffered from brain swelling and fell into a coma.His uncle, Nick Burgess, issued a grave update on Saturday. Sunday night, numerous reports confirmed that Thomas had passed away from his injuries.Alexa Liacko of FOX 5 reports that Thomas was just 16 years old.Things are not looking good at all.
